Permanent Hair Reduction
Using specific wavelengths which are absorbed by the pigment in the hair follicle, the light energy is converted into heat, resulting in thermal damage to the hair follicle. This thermal damage causes delayed regrowth of the hair or complete permanent destruction of the hair follicle.
The light is pulsed for only a fraction of a second and the duration of each pulse is just long enough to disrupt the hair follicle. This allows for a comfortable and fast treatment.
Vascular Therapy
IPL Vascular therapy uses 430nm-460nm wavelengths to target and destroy broken veins, while leaving the surrounding skin unaffected. The light is absorbed by the blood vessels, which then causes the veins to shrink and eventually disappear.
Treatments should be spaced 3-4 weeks apart allowing the broken capillaries to be re-absorbed by the body.
